The Enable Fibre Broadband ARTarama 2018 will this year, feature works of art from the collection of the Late Austen Deans.

ARTarama 2018 will be held at St Andrew’s College on 12th to 14th October 2018.

ARTarama 2018 is an exhibition and competition featuring works of art from local artists.

In conjunction with the AA Deans Trust a number of works will be exhibited, In adddition, a selection of works from the trust collection will be for sale, including works by Austen Deans and works by other artists that were collected by Austen.

Alister Austen Deans, always known as Austen, followed his two passions – painting and the great outdoors – throughout his life, with a career as professional artist that spanned more than 60 years.

Austen was twice the first place recipient (and once second) of the Kelleher Art Award.

Son Paul Deans has followed his father’s passion and is a Christchurch based sculptor and portrait artist.

The Rotary Club of Bishopdale Burnside Charitable Trust wish to acknowledge the AA Deans Trust for supporting this years ARTarama, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Nurse Maude Hospice.
