BOOKarama 2026 Collection has Begun

📚 BOOKarama 2026 – Donation Collection Has Officially Begun! 🎉

We’re excited to announce that our community collection for BOOKarama 2026 is now underway! Thank you to everyone who has been asking when they can start donating — the wait is over!

You can now donate your good‑quality books, DVDs, records, and jigsaws to support this year’s BOOKarama, celebrating 20 years of bringing readers together.

📅 Collections begin 9th March 2026

Our donation season has now kicked off and will run in the lead‑up to our event on 17–19 April at Bishopdale Recreation Centre.

We anticipate our collection will end 5th April but reserve the right to either shorten or extend the collection period depending on the volume of donations. Therefore, we recommend that you drop your donated items as early as possible.  

Any updates/changes will be on our bins, our website, and through facebook and Instagram.

📍 Collection Bin Locations 🎉

There are a few changes to our bin locations this year so please note. New World Durham Street replaces Raeward Fresh Tower Junction which is of course no longer operating. We have a new location out at the Airport precinct at Bunnings Christchurch Airport.
