Exciting changes are coming to Bishopdale—and Jason Dobson is right at the heart of them.Jason, the owner-operator of New World Bishopdale, recently shared his story with our Club and gave us a preview of the supermarket’s major redevelopment. The planned upgrade will increase the store’s floor area by nearly 40%, with new cladding, glazing, signage and an improved car park. New World will remain open while the work is carried out, which is expected to take around 12 months once construction begins. It is a big project, but Jason’s lifelong experience in supermarkets—and his genuine care for his team, customers and community—make him well placed to guide the store through this exciting next chapter. And the momentum is spreading across Bishopdale Mall. The long-vacant former Mitre 10 building is being transformed through extensive strengthening and refurbishment. Snap Fitness has moved into the redeveloped building, with a medical centre, smaller shops and office space also forming part of the renewed community hub. Together, these projects are bringing fresh energy, useful services and renewed confidence to the heart of Bishopdale. We were delighted to hear from Jason and wish him, his team and everyone involved in Bishopdale’s revitalisation all the best for the busy and exciting months ahead.#Bishopdale #NewWorldBishopdale #BishopdaleMall #Community ...
