Collection Opens for BOOKarama 2024

With BOOKarama 2024 just next month on April 26th to 28th, we are now inviting donations of good quality Books, CD’s, DVD’s, Records and Jigsaws. No magazines please.

This is our 18th BOOKarama and the venue is the same as last year – it just has a different name  – Bishopdale Recreation Centre previously known as the YMCA.

Our collection bins were distributed to the locations below on the 18th of March and our collection period will end approximately a week before the Sale – keep checking this website for details.

We are again very thankful for the support from the businesses where the bins are located and we ask that you support them in return.  

We have rosters set up for the bins to be cleared regularly sometimes 2 or even three times a day. We ask that if the bins are full please hold the items for the next day rather than leave them lying about the premises.

As Easter falls within our collection period please check the relevant holiday business hours to see if they are open, particularly on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

As in previous years, the funds we raise are dedicated to supporting Youth and Community Projects.

Last year, we proudly provided assistance to esteemed organizations such as Odyssey House, Braintree Trust, Cancer Support Centre, Primary School Speech Contest, Local Primary Schools, and the Good Night Sleep Tight Charitable Trust.
